Nicole, the founder of Sun and Moon Lactation, is an internationally board certified lactation consultant, IBCLC. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, a certificate in lactation education and counseling, and a certificate in lactation consulting all from The University of California, San Diego. Nicole is currently pursuing a certificate in perinatal mental health to be better equipped to serve her clients.

 

Nicole has worked in pediatrics for over a decade. Before she worked in pediatrics, Nicole worked as a teacher, and from 1999 to 2012 offered babysitting and nannying services to Bay Area families. Nicole holds a special place in her heart for babies and children with special needs, and for loss parents.

In addition to teaching families, Nicole is open to other teaching and lecturing opportunities. She has taught medical students as a guest speaker in "Selectives" at Saint George's University School of Medicine as well as giving formal instruction to the students in the nursing school at Saint George's. Nicole has also given perinatal classes at California First Five programs.
